Recently we had a photo of a vacuum carburizing furnace at gear supplier Xtrac in the UK. We are looking forward to having an in depth article about the firm in the near future but what we can tell you today is that the company was recently selected as the sole gearbox and driveline supplier for NASCAR’s 2022 next gen cup car. We can also share that the original heat treatment department consisted solely of Sealed Quench furnaces, however the company also has the ability to offer vacuum carburizing also-I think we can guess the future.
