The partnership will add value to SBS customers by providing additional onsite product support capability and turn-key installation options throughout the region.

Obsidian launched in 2022 to support both heat-treating departments and equipment manufacturers by providing a wide range of services including product training, technical support, installation, and equipment upgrade services.

Jason and Eric Jossart first worked with SBS in 2014 when they were designing a new endothermic gasgenerator at Atmosphere Engineering. “SBS took the time to work with our engineers to help develop a heat exchanger with custom mounting hardware to fit into our compact product footprint.” recalls Jason Jossart, then President of Atmosphere Engineering. “The knowledgeable team at SBS responded quickly to our questions and provided all the technical information and drawings required to make that product launch quite successful.”
