Last week we had an interesting news item about Interpower Induction acquiring KVA Induction, a story which can be found at https://themonty.com/interpower-induction-adds-kva-induction-to-its-group-of-companies/

While the story was not a complete surprise to the team at “The Monty” it did certainly lead us to take a closer look at the company which prompted a visit to their headquarters in Almont, Michigan, USA just yesterday.

What this visit revealed to us was a growing, innovative Induction heating supplier who might not be the largest in the industry but certainly one with some very good ideas, a very well established customer base and a global reach.

“Global Reach” refers to the fact that the firm has several locations in Michigan in the USA along with a facility in the UK to service the European market and a large facility in India which is growing by leaps and bounds.

While the company started as a supplier of induction power supplies, their product offerings now includes complete systems which include tube annealing systems, scanners, induction melting systems and complete material handling solutions.
