Earlier this week “The Monty Heat Treat News” in an exclusive story announced that earlier this year commercial heat treater “Scarrott Metallurgical” in Los Angeles, CA, USA had been “Acquired” by “Tube Bending Technologies”. When we made this announcement we also stated that we would be announcing another North American commercial heat treat acquisition.

Family owned “Thermal Vac” has made named as one of the “50 Largest North American Commerical Heat Treaters” for several years running by “The Monty”. We can now announce that December 4^th of this year the company was acquired by Tube Bending Technologies-the same company that acquired Scarrott Metallurgical earlier this year. While we don’t know how this will change things at “Thermal Vac” we do know that the President of Thermal Vac, Ms. Heather Falcone and daughter of the founder Mr. Steve Driscol, recently left the company.

Tube Bending Technology is located in the San Bernardino Valley, CA., CEO Mr. Brent Daldo. “Tube Bending” manufacturers tubes for the Aerospace/Defense/Space and Semi Conductor industries and their heat treatment and brazing was being done by Thermal Vac.

With this second acquisition Tube Bending Technology now becomes one the “50 Largest Commercial Heat Treaters in North America” and this will be reflected in our updated rankings in the first quarter of 2025.
