Heat Treatment Names in the News

We start off mentioning that long time heat treater Roger Lupien is no longer with Precision Thermal Processing in Clintonville, WI. Roger is quite a well know fellow in the North American commercial heat treating industry having spent a number of years with PTP and before that Nitrex. Precision Thermal is a long established player in the Midwest market with diverse technology offerings including Vacuum, BIQ, Induction, etc. in their 60,000 sq. ft plant. In Germany we see that well known furnace manufacturer ALD Vacuum Technologies Gmb of Hanau has recently appointed Roland Kraemling as Senior Project Manager. While Roland was most recently working with a company outside of the heat treatment industry he did serve as Vice President of ALD vacuum for 10 years from 2005 to 2015. “The Monty Heat Treat News” is hoping to visit ALD in the near future with an eye on profiling the company.

Bodycote Appoints General Manger for Camas, Washington, Facility. Commercial heat treating giant Bodycote recently appointed Mr. Vito Adamo General Manager of their Camas, Washington, USA facility. Vito most recently was with Stack Metallurgical Group and before that captive heat treater Precision Castparts. This Bodycote location is almost exclusively dedicated to Hot Isostatic Processing.
