GE Aviation recently auctioned off some very nice heat treating furnaces, now we have learned they will be offering another one in the near future. Manufactured by GH Induction Atmospheres of Rochester, NY this is a very unusual item, an Induction Heating Vacuum Furnace built in 2019. This particular unit has working dimensions of 12” X 16” and  a maximum operating temperature of 3200F. As far as we know GH is the only company to market this technology but in the right application the technology is hard to beat. More details coming.
