Thermal Process Holdings Consolidates Plants
Commercial heat treater Thermal Process Holdings is ranked as one of the 50 largest commercial heat treaters in North America by “The Monty Heat Treat News”-find out where they rank later this week when we update to our 2024 list.
We understand that the firm has advised customers that effective July 1 of this year their “Diamond Heat Treat” location in Rockford, IL will be closed with operations consolidated into their “Rockford Heat Treat” facility also in Rockford, IL.
Rockford Heat Treat was acquired by Thermal Process Holdings back in February of 2022 as you can see in this press release dated February 8, 2022 (PLEASE NOTE THAT JOHN HUBBARD IS NO LONGER CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD AT THERMAL PROCESS HOLDINGS AND TODD MACDONALD IS NO LONGER WITH THE COMPANY).
“FEBRUARY 8, 2022; John Hubbard, Chairman of the Board of “Thermal Process Holdings” announces the recent acquisition of “Rockford Heat Treaters” of Rockford, Illinois, USA. With this acquisition the firm now has 6 commercial heat-treating facilities all located in the US Midwest. As is the case with all acquisitions made by “Thermal Process Holdings”, “Rockford Heat Treaters” will continue as an independent location continuing to build on their past successes. The two owners/operators of the firm, Tom and Ted Deutsch will be staying on in their current positions.
