In this weeks installment of “The Heat Treat Podcast” Carlos Torres has a discussion with Mr. Doug Puerta, CEO of Stack Metallurgical Services in Portland, Oregon about HOT Isostatic Pressing. Doug is like many of us in the industry in that he was born with heat treating in his blood, his father Ralph Puerta owns and runs Vacu-Braze in Pennsylvania. From our file photos comes this picture of Doug when the company inaugurated their very first “HIP” system in early 2020.
