There is a brand-new commercial heat treater in Texas by the name of Armor Heat Treat LLC which opened their doors very recently. Located in Richland Hills, Texas the relatively small operation is starting off with two batch IQ furnaces with working dimensions of 48″ X 36 X 48″ and 48″ X 72″ X 36″, these will be followed by at least one more in the near future. All ancillary equipment such as an endothermic generator, washer, charge car and tempers are already operational and when everything is completed the company will be offering carburizing, anneal, normalizing, stress relieving and age hardening.
