Defense Spending Continues to “Boost” Vacuum Furnace Sales
Providing more ammunition (no pun intended) to the story about increased defense spending helping to increase vacuum furnace demand we have this brief story. October 20th, 2026 Pete Hegseth U.S. Secretary of War (formerly Secretary of Defense) visited “Metalcraft Riverside Machine & Engineering” in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA a high end machining firm which provides components to various defense firms. His press conference was held in front of an “Ipsen” Vacuum Aluminum Brazing furnace and he can be seen signing the door of the furnace with the words; “Forging the Arsenal of Freedom”.
An interesting photo to say the least.
