In Mexico, experienced heat treater Walter Hardy has been hired by Mattsa Furnace Company as a Sales Engineer. Previous to this Walter worked for DOWA THT Company in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Dowa is a Japan based company who offers new furnaces and also operates a string of commercial heat treats around the world largely servicing the Japanese auto “transplants”.

Mattsa, also in San Luis Potosi is the largest furnace builder in Mexico and offers most styles of furnace including Batch IQ’s, continuous, tempers, washers and Endothermic Generators. The photo below shows the Mattsa location as we saw it in 2016.
