Jimmy Morris May 14th 1959-February 23, 2023

The heat treat industry recently lost another good one, Mr. Jimmy Morris. Jimmy was best known in the southern USA, in particular in Texas where he worked with a number of captive and commercial heat treaters installing control systems and servicing furnaces. He will be missed.

“Jimmy Neil Morris, 63, of Muldrow, died on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, in Muldrow. He was born on May 14, 1959, in Wellington, Texas, to J.C. Morris Sr. and Esther Lavonia (Waye) Morris. He was an Army veteran, honorably discharged. He worked for the aerospace industry, working as an expert in heat treating/metallurgy engineering. He married Patricia Kay Jackson on March 31, 1977. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Morris of Muldrow; two brothers, J.C. Morris Jr. of Denton, Texas, and Rudy and Susan of Fort Pierce, Fla.; one sister, Shari and Matt of Greenville, Texas; brother-in-law, Charles Jackson of Snyder; and other family members and friends.
