In Sulligent, Alabama, USA we see that fork lift gear manufacturer Hyster-Yale will be auctioning off a great deal of equipment and this includes their entire rather antiquated heat treat department. The reasonably large heat treat department consists mainly of older Ipsen atmosphere equipment-probably 1970’s vintage at a guess. Everything appears to be complete and is in reasonable condition however due to the size and the age we doubt it will attract too much attention. As an example the Ipsen T9 batch IQ furnace which is pictured below now has a bid of $600.00 which gives you an indication of the level of interest. While we wouldn’t swear to this our understanding is that the company has elected to outsource their heat treatment requirements to a local commercial heat treater.
