Aluminum Extrusion Manufacturer Adds Third Nitriding System

“ Prosel Aluminum” (Prosel Alüminyum San. ve Tic. A.Ş.), an aluminum extrusion manufacturer based in Turkey, recently inaugurated their third “Nitrex” nitriding system into its fully integrated in-house die shop. The gas nitrocarburizing capabilities of the new system will be used to treat H11 and H13 steel extrusion dies.

The massive mechanical friction and thermal stress wear down the steel dies quickly, hence the need for a thermal processing system to enhance the life of the dies.”
