CEO of Italy’s Largest Furnace Builder Leaves the Company

For many years “Cieffe Thermal Systems” in Colle Umberto, Italy was undoubtedly the largest furnace builder in Italy, offering a wide range of furnaces from Sealed quench systems, to mesh belt furnaces to vacuum units. That title might no longer apply to the company but certainly it has a long, rich history of providing furnace systems throughout Europe with some successes in Asia and North America and even Cuba which is a rather unusual locale for a heat treat system.

For the past 10 years the CEO has been Mr. Pete Schweighofer a rather colorful individual. It would appear that Pete has just left the company and is now CFO of the SCHAKO Group which is in quite a different industry from the heat treatment field. At this point in time it is unknown who will be replacing Pete.
