Profitherm® provides a flexible alternative to traditional integral-quench batch furnace configurations. Its modular, pitless design allows furnace, quench, washing, and tempering modules to be arranged around specific production needs. The concept can help heat treaters optimize floor space, improve equipment accessibility, expand capacity, and respond as production demands change.
Additional advantages include reduced temperature and atmosphere conditioning times, independent furnace and quench modules, and automated material handling.
Growing Interest in Salt Quenching
Solo Swiss is also seeing increased interest in salt-quenching applications, particularly where controlled heat extraction and distortion management are important.
