Amidst a slowdown in the German heat treat industry, ROHDE Schutzgasöfen GmbH of Hanau, Germany, a supplier of furnaces and salt recovery systems is reporting very strong sales.

 

Natasha Rohde of the company had this to say; “We are very fortunate that while others in the industry are seeing a slowdown, we continue to be very busy. Our sales are strong right across our product spectrum and this includes both furnaces and our “SRU’s (Salt Recovery Units), which we provide to heat treaters around the world who have salt quenching. As an example, this year we have provided systems to two of the largest commercial heat treaters in Germany, SHU Schwäbische Härtetechnik Ulm and Erbacher Härtetechnik. We also have orders for two more systems, one of which will be going to the USA.” Natasha added that the US system will be built by their partner in the USA, McLaughlin Furnace Group of Avilla, Indiana.
