Ms. Kimberley Chaussee was recently appointed General Manager of Stack Metallurgical Group, Portland, Oregon, USA. Previous to this Kimberley had spent over 8 years with the company as Production Control Manager. Stack Metallurgical is the largest commercial heat treater in the US Northwest and offers a number of processes including vacuum carburizing. As a matter of fact the company has the largest LPC unit in North America and it can be seen in the photo below. Stack recently presented this very interesting article about vacuum carburizing of large gears.
