Vietnam Pump Manufacturer Expands Heat Treat Department

Heat treat news items about Vietnam are few and far between which makes this press release rather interesting, especially in light of the fact that it ties in with our top news item today about McLaughlin Furnace Group/Rohde. Mclaughlin Furnace Group in Indiana, USA has announced that they are completing the last of a 7 temper furnace order from a US pump manufacturer with manufacturing facilities in Vietnam. The temper furnace order will compliment equipment the company in Vietnam now has in house which includes “Super 30” Batch IQ furnaces built by Surface Combustion and also batch IQ furnaces originally built by Ipsen for Dokka fasteners in Michigan (Interesting story behind this. Dokka Fasteners in Norway bought the furnaces for a location in Michigan, USA which closed down after a few short years. Through a very roundabout route they ended up being installed in Vietnam). These photos show two of the furnaces in final construction at McLaughlin.
