“NITREX Heat Treat Services (HTS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Sumner as the company’s Director of Sales, effective June 1. With his extensive experience in the heat-treating industry and proven sales track record, Steven will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s sales efforts and driving growth across North America.

Bringing a wealth of expertise to his new position, Steven previously served as Vice President at commercial heat treaters Tri-City Steel and Applied Process. His background as a metallurgist coupled with his in-depth knowledge of heat-treating operations and sales will be instrumental in formulating effective strategies to maximize plant productivity and expand the business. As Director of Sales, Steven will oversee all sales activities throughout North America for HTS. His immediate focus will be on enhancing sales processes and driving improvements to meet the company’s short-term goals. Furthermore, Steven will work closely with the operations team to establish regional strategies aimed at long-term growth and positioning NITREX as a leader in the heat-treating industry.
