SSi Mexico

Recently Jordan and Gord Montgomery of “The Monty Heat Treat News” attended the ASM 2024 Heat Treat exhibition in Queretaro, Mexico during which time they were able to visit a number of in house and commercial heat treaters in area. For many of these visits their hosts were the local SSi team-they well deserve a mention;
SSi Mexico (a division of  furnace controls company Super Systems Inc., of Cincinatti, Ohio, USA) was formed in 2011 based in Queretaro to serve the booming heat treat market in the country. Since that time the firm has grown every single year to the point that it now boasts 21 people with 18 in Querétaro with a further 3 in Monterrey.
What started off as simply a sales office has evolved into a “full service” facility with the ability to build, service, support and indeed calibrate both systems and instruments and these capablities continue to increase each year. While the entire team at SSi Mexico deserves praise we would like to single out the General Manager, Mr. Salvador Murillo for particular praise-it is always difficult to find hard working, conceintous people and Salvador certainly fits the bill. We asked him for comments and this is what he had to say;
“It has been a joy working with SSi and so far it has been a tremendous journey, our team is top notch and our customers while demanding are a pleasure to work with. While I am proud of many things perhaps our after market support is what I am most pleased about. Every day I look forward to my job and I plan on being part of the Mexican heat treat industry for many years to come.”
Salvador went on to say that SSi Mexico offers regular heat treat related seminars including a perenial favorite on safety which has been a constant popular course (editors note: no country in the world focuses more on heat treat safety than Mexico is what “The Monty” found during our visit).
These photos show you the facility as we saw it. We thank the entire SSi Mexico team.
