SIFCO Industries Fire

December 26^th, 2018 forging company SIFCO suffered a very serious fire at their plant in California, USA. The fire severely damaged several presses and caused extensive damage to the heat treating department. We have never seen a company more open and forthcoming about the extent of the damage and their efforts to get back into production ASAP. From day one SIFCO has been clear about what happened, what they are doing to get back into production, when it would happen and what their back up plans are-we are truly impressed. As far as we can tell at this point in time all the equipment has either been repaired or is in the process of being replaced.
