AFC 500lb/hr, Natural Gas fired Continuous Belt Furnace Line. Currently configured in a straight line, sits on level floor with no pits.

 

Includes Loading system, prewash, hardener, quench system, post wash, temper furnace and Rust Preventative tank with discharge conveyor. Also included are Control Panels, Water Cooler, Oil Cooler, Ventilation Hoods, Flow Meters, Combustion Air Blowers, Mechanical and Electrical Drawings. Equipment envelop is approximately W15’ x L94’ x H13’ plus control panels and coolers. System is 460V 3PH and recommended 3PSI natural Gas reduced to 2 and 1 PSI at equipment.

 

Loader: Dura Pack Model IL Ser No: 4389IL. Dumper for 2,000 lb bins, two stage weigh feeder with soft part handling

 

Prewash: AFC 180F heated soak tank with sealed magnetic conveyor and air knife and skimmer.

 

Hardener: AFC Job Number 60687, Model MB30-96. 30” wide loading. Max temperature 1700 F. Belt speeds from 1.1 – 6.5 inch/min. Set up for Endothermic Atmosphere 0-1.0% Carbon. Requires 1200CFH Natural Gas at 2 PSI. Single zone heat and carbon control. Gas and Air trim. Extra Radiant tube,

 

Quench: Approximately 1,000 Gallons above ground with temp control, oil cooler and filtering system.

 

Post wash: AFC 180 F Heated spray washer 700 Gallon tank with skimmer.

 

Temper: AFC Job Number 60689. Two zone direct fire, 48” wide belt x 14’ hot zone. Belt speed 0.44 – 1.33 inch/min. Gas requirements 1,300,000 BTU/Hr Natural gas at 1 PSI.(Includes postwash gas).

 

Rust Preventative: Approximately 700 gallon Heated dip tank with discharge conveyor.
