Jeffery John Machcinski Advanced Heat Treat Corp. 1972-2025
It is with regret that we mention the passing of Mr. Jeff Machcinski, a good man who “The Monty Team” met a number of times over the years in his role as VP of Engineering with Advanced Heat Treat Corp.

Jeff was a man of many passions. He found joy in riding his Harley and was a dedicated member of Ft. Industry Masonic Lodge #144, where he served as a Master Mason, as well as a Royal Arch Mason. A talented musician, Jeff cherished playing the organ gifted to him by his mother.
He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and loved watching them play football. Jeff also followed Redwings Hockey. He liked to listen to live music from local area musicians and attending local festivals. Jeff loved science and “tech stuff” so he spent a lot of time watching documentaries and reading. He also treasured family vacations to Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
Jeff shared a close bond with his mother, often surprising her with thoughtful gifts and meaningful moments. Though he was a private individual, Jeff’s devotion to his family and friends was unwavering.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Machcinski; stepfather, Gerald Sheckler; grandparents, Ed and Alice Machcinski and Clarence and June Holub and uncle, Jim Machcinski.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Linda S. Sheckler; sons, Jacob and Justin Machcinski; beloved brother who he was very close to, Brian (Nina) Machcinski; uncle, Keith (Lori) Holub; niece, Alli; nephew, Nick; special friend, Gary Sharp; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Road (419-473-0300). A Masonic Service will be led by Temple Members Thursday evening beginning at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to the Toledo Humane Society or to the Golden Retriever Rescue Resource, Inc in Jeffery’s memory.”
