Honeywell Aerospace de Mexico Adding Batch IQ Capacity

When it comes to in house heat treating in Mexico the automotive industry is far and away the largest in the country, however the Aerospace industry is also an up and coming industry which brings with it top end heat treating. The Aerospace Cluster in Chihuahua, Mexico, is the largest employer of aerospace engineers and technicians in the country, accounting for 1/3 of the entire aerospace labor force out of all of the clusters in Mexico. It is home to companies such as Cessna, Beechcraft, Textron Aviation, Bell , Honeywell, CAV Aerospace, Kaman, Tighitco, Soisa Aerospace and Zodiac Aerospace to name a few. The company that concerns us today is Honeywell Aerospace de Mexico. A reader in Mexico sent us this photo of the most recent addition to the company’s heat treat department. What we see in this picture is a Batch IQ furnace with working dimensions of 36″ X 48″ X 36″ being installed and in the background we see a dual module endothermic generator with a capacity of 9,000 CFH. This facility also made our news section a number of years back when they installed a new Ipsen vacuum furnace.
