Our favorite European heat treatment exhibition HartereiKongress is held each year in Cologne, Germany although it was a “virtual” event in 2020. We mentioned how the live event was being cancelled again in 2021, now comes word that they will not be hosting a virtual event this year, it will only be the congress portion of the event. While the cancellation of the live even is very upsetting it comes as no surprise and in our opinion the organizers had no choice in the matter with the amount of uncertainty. The virtual event being cancelled will disappoint few, I believe most people have come to the conclusion that any sort of virtual show is pretty much a waste of time.
