Aalberts Surface Technologies, the second largest European heat treater as ranked by “The Monty Heat Treat News” is in the process of installing a new sealed quench line at their Remscheid, Germany location. The fully automated XXL line (width 1220/length 1520/height 1300), is capable of heat treating batch weights of up to 2 tons. This investment allows for a range of core processes such as case hardening, carbonitriding, protective hardening and tempering. The Remscheid location is one of the larger Aalberts facilities in Europe and focuses on heat treating of automotive components.
