Salt Quench with salt tempering system.

Item # C419 2,000 Pound/Hour AFC-Holcroft Mesh Belt Furnace Line

Built by “AFC-Holcroft” of Wixom, MI this line consists of a loader, prewash, hardening furnace, quench tank, post wash, temper furnace and Nitrogen generating system;

Hardening furnace runs up to 1700 degrees and 2000 lbs./per hour. Belt is 48” wide by approximately 22 ft long . New “SSI” flow meter panel with “EFLO” 2.0, nitrogen, Endo, enrichment gas , and dilution air electronic flow meters. New Over temp alarm system for hardening furnace. New air-cooled atmosphere fans inside. New “SSI” digital graph readout to eliminate paper tracking. Closed loop water cooled system for bearings.
New C02 suppression system for quench tank.
Quench tank volume approximately 5,350 gallons. Has an SBS air/oil quench oil cooler and Honeywell temperature controller.
Temper furnace is capable of 600-1250 degrees at 2200 lbs./per hour. Belt width is 60” wide with 2” high flex plate. 34 ft belt furnace length
The line has a prewash and post wash. Post wash is right before the temper furnace. Prewash has a new “Smart Skim” oil removal system.

Manufactured by AFC-Holcroft at their MATTSA licensed facility this is a gas fired mesh belt austemper line with a capacity of 150kg/hour (330 pounds per hour). This a complete line with automated loading system, high heat furnace salt quench and wash system. Endothermic atmosphere (AFC-Holcroft generator also available).

Manufactured by Lindberg this is a Rotary Hearth Furnace Model HD-18509-AR. Serial number 77889, Reference #70194. Electrically heated, maximum operating temperature 1600F. Voltage 240/3/60/72 kW. Work Area: 18″W x 9″H Opening x 50″ diameter hearth. External Dimensions: 8′ diameter x 10’H.

Controls: Mounted and wired in a separate free standing panel with fused disconnect includes an SSi Series 7 digital temperature controller, SS1 75L Limitrol digital high limit and SSi AC20 digital carbon controller with SSi carbon probe. There is also a Minarik digital speed control with display for hearth speed and an ATC analog timer for indexing time. Mounted in a separated enclosure includes a “Spang” SCR power controller for the heating elements. High limit contactor, motor starter, push buttons, signal lights etc. mounted in the same enclosure.

Description: Standard Lindberg atmosphere rotary hearth furnace with vertical lift air operated door and alloy hearth plates. Furnace door is operated with a dual palm type push button station.
