THERMETCO Inc., the largest commercial heat treater in Quebec, Canada recently acquired commercial heat treater LES TREMPS LD of Granby, Quebec. Located in Chateauguay THERMETCO is a second-generation commercial heat treat facility which offers most processes including Vacuum and Atmosphere Heat Treating, Nitriding (both gas and Plasma) and salt processing. In just the past few years the firm moved into a larger facility – 50 000 ft² and acquired another local commercial heat treater by the name of NATIONAL TOOL HARDENING.

THERMETCO is AS9100, NADCAP and CQI9 approved and offers NDT Services via its subsidiary INSPECTIONS THERMETCO. It has also recently added more batch IQ capacity in the form of a 36” X 48” X 36” batch IQ furnace. At the “Monty Heat Treat News” we would estimate that THERMETCO is now the third largest commercial heat treater in Canada in terms of annual sales.
