Furnace builder Can-Eng is known in the global heat treat industry for several of their product offerings, but none more so than their mesh belt furnaces. Gord, Dale and Jordan Montgomery of “The Monty Heat Treat News” just arrived in Düsseldorf, Germany for the upcoming heat treatment show and mingling with some of the other just arriving visitors we heard an interesting rumor about the Niagara Falls, Canada company. Namely that business is very good for the company and they have 2 large mesh belt furnaces currently under construction. The rumor goes on to say that another order is confirmed and that two others are possible. We also heard something about Austempering but nothing beyond that. “The Monty” will try to get more details this week.
