August 19th, 2025 “The Monty” had this news item about a new USA location for commercial heat-treating giant Bodycote; “Bodycote to Open New Facility in Fairfield, Ohio, USA”. At the time of posting details were in short supply but we did promise updates as they became available, that became today.

Bodycote is relocating their Aerospace, Defense and Energy site at 710 Burns Street in Cincinnati to the new location in Fairfield, OH. The Fairfield plant is outfitted with vacuum heat treating and brazing capability as well as aluminum heat treating furnaces.  A Nadcap audit has been completed and it is expected that by early October, 2025 the company will begin transferring work from the Cincinnati location to the new plant. Apparently, the new location with have more vacuum capacity and the company is in the process of hiring engineers and supervisors.
