Last week, April 29^th to be exact we had a news item entitled “Unusual Heat Treat Photos”. Included in this offering was a picture of the largest vacuum furnace we have ever personally seen. Vacuum furnace builder Ipsen sent us this photo last week which is rather cool. In the foreground we see a pretty standard sized “Titan” vacuum furnace, in the background we see a furnace currently under construction which dwarfs it. Unfortunately except for this photo no other information can be released.
