Granted there are few companies in North America looking to add heat treating capacity, however for those companies which need more capacity there are certainly bargains to be had. As an example we would point to this surplus mesh belt furnace line which is being replaced by a new, larger mesh belt line. It has a very respectable capacity at 3500 pounds per hour and was in operation until just a few weeks ago. Asking price is $50,000 which we would have considered a super bargain just 2 months ago.
