About ALD Thermal Treatment; ALD Thermal Treatment has two heat treatment locations in North America, Port Huron, Michigan and Ramos Arizpe, Mexico. Between the two facilities the company ranks as one of the largest commercial LPC heat treaters in North America although the two plants do offer other processes including nitriding. The Port Huron location (the larger of the two) was established in 2006 and currently has 4 ALD Modultherm systems with a total of 24 treatment chambers.
