Aerospace Heat Treater in Austria Installs IVR Annealing Furnace
Italian furnace manufacturer IVR recently provided a furnace to an Aerospace supplier in Austria which will be used to anneal titanium & metal plates. The furnace has working dimensions of 1800 mm Wide X 500 mm High X 6500 mm in length with a weight capacity of 30 tons. The furnace has a hybrid heating system (both gas and electric) and is capable of 1100C. Atmosphere can be either nitrogen or argon and the furnace is Certified for CQI-9, AMS2750F-D class 3, NADCAP and RRP54000. The furnace entered production March of 2022.
