Accurate Brazing Announces ITAR Registration and Compliance With The US Department of State

“Accurate Brazing, a full-service provider of specialized heat-treating solutions, announces its registration with the US Department of State for the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) through the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls at its state-of-the-art Garlington Road facility in Greenville, SC.  “As we continue to advance technologies and capabilities available to our customers, it is an important step for Accurate Brazing to be ITAR registered and compliant. With ITAR registration, we are positioned to strengthen our service to the Defense and Aerospace markets,” says Brent Davis, President. The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is a set of regulations that govern the manufacture, sale, and distribution of defense and space related articles and services as defined in the United States Munitions List. In order to be controlled under ITAR as a defense article, a given component, subcomponent, part, assembly, subassembly or integrated system, must have been specifically designed, developed, configured, adapted, or modified for a military end-use or defense-related application.

ITAR registration is a means to provide the US Government with necessary information on who is involved in high-tech manufacturing, exporting, and brokering activities. In addition to ITAR registration, the Garlington Road facility in Greenville is Nadcap and AS 9100D with ISO 9001:2015 certified. Accurate Brazing, a subsidiary of Aalberts N.V., is a full-service, one-stop shop for Vacuum Brazing, Heat-treating, and HIP’ing with over thirty years in the business. It is tailored to support the Aerospace, Additive, and Power Generation markets. Accurate Brazing has facilities located in South Carolina, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.”
