Mario Ciampini. June 30th of this year "The Monty" had this news item about "Mr. Mario Ciampini"; "Heat Treat Industry Losing One of the “Great” Ones-Mario Ciampini"
Unfortunately, the global heat treatment industry is losing one of the "great" ones, an individual who is known to heat treaters around the world, Mr. "Mario Ciampini". Currently Vice President, Strategic Projects and M&A, Bodycote plc Mario has announced that June30th, 2026 he will be leaving the company.
Anybody that knows Mario knows he would not stay away from the industry for long-"The Monty" has learned that Mario is now a self-employed business consultant and we would assume that in this position he will remain involved in the heat treatment industry. Justin Henderson, Alcon Industries. According to this press release cast alloy supplier "Alcon Industries" of Cleveland, Ohio has a new President by the name of "Justin Henderson". "Kevin Vadini has made the decision to step down from his position as President to pursue new professional opportunities. We thank Kevin for his service and wish him continued success in his future endeavors. Justin Henderson has accepted the role of President of Alcon Industries, where he is dedicated to driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and improved customer satisfaction. Justin joined Alcon in April 2025, serving with distinction as Director of Supply Chain and, most recently, Vice President of Sales and Supply Chain. With more than 20 years of experience leading operational improvements, Justin brings a deep passion for optimizing supply chains and maximizing operational excellence. He holds an MBA from Ferris State University and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Baker College of Muskegon."
Bob Tufail. Aalberts Surface Technologies. Very recently "Bob" was appointed "Regional Technical Service Manager" for commercial heat treater "Aalberts Surface Technologies" . In this position "Bob" will have a number of responsibilities, so many in fact that we hope he is getting at least two salaries. Previous to this he was with commercial heat treater "Bodycote" for over 26 years.
Jesus Calderon Reyna, ALD Thermal Treatment, Mexico. "Jesus Calderon Ryna" has spent the past 11 years with commercial heat treater "ALD Tratamientos Termicos" in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, most recently as General Manager. While we don't know why "Jesus" recently left the company apparently he did so on good terms. ALD specializes in Low Pressure Carburizing (LPC)and is ranked as one of the largest commercial heat treaters in North America by "The Monty Heat Treat News" "Top 52" List Provides Insight Into North American Heat Treat Industry"
James Demarest, Weave Alloy Products, Sterling Heights, Michigan. Jim Demarest has spent all of his career in the heat treatment industry, working with companies such as furnace builder, AFC-Holcroft and most recently with cast alloy supplier "Alcon Industries" of Cleveland, Ohio. "Alcon" has gone through a number of changes recently which has resulted in a few employees leaving the company including Jim. Recently he became President of "Weave Alloy Products" of Sterling Heights, Michigan a supplier of fabricated woven wire products.
