June 29th, 2026 "The Monty Heat Treat News" published our annual list of the "52 Largest North American Commercial Heat Treaters", a list which included 4 new entries. One which we pointed out earlier was a Texas firm by the name of "Worldwide Heat Treat"-a second new entry is "Grupo "ETSA" of Mexico, a description of which is below.

"Grupo ETSA" (Especialidades Térmicas, S.A.), Mexico; "Grupo ETSA" has 7 plants in Mexico, Guadalajara, Celaya, Aguascalientes, San Juan del Río, and Mexico City. The company is privately owned, Mario Fabian Mendez, President. Typically their operations have heavily focused on automotive and oil components (~85%), with the remaining 15% dedicated to vacuum tooling. However during a recent meeting with Mario he said that the firm is investing in more aerospace work.
