Commercial heat treater “H-O-T” (Härte- und Oberflächentechnik) is one of the largest commercial heat treaters in Europe and as such we have mentioned this company several times over the years, most recently just a few months ago when they announced that they had invested in a new “Ipsen” Sealed Quench line (Batch IQ furnaces for our North American readers) for their Witten, Germany location. 

We can now provide an update to this story in that the furnaces are being installed as we speak and that they are expected to be in production within the next few weeks. These photos tell the story.
