USA Manufacturer Adding Heat Treat Capacity

Since 1968 “Haven Steel Products” of Haven, Kansas has been producing steel spring components for the agricultural industry (tillage components), the construction industry (landscaping and mowing components) and the trailer industry (leaf springs). The firm has always believed in “in-house” heat treating and the end result is that it currently has batch furnaces, induction heating systems as well as continous line.
 
“Haven” has just announced that they are installing a new batch IQ line which can be seen in these photos. This installation is in “Haven’s” second facility located in McKenzie, TN.
 
Manufacturing of leaf springs and tillage tools has always involved a great deal of heat treating and in most cases this heat treating is done in house as the furnaces are reasonably specalized.
