Yesterday we had a news item entitled “Why are so Many North American Commercial Heat Treaters Closing?” In the article we mentioned a number of different commercial heat treaters who have closed over the past year-one which we mentioned was Diamond Heat Treating in Rockford, IL. It turns out our information was partially incorrect. Yes it was announced that that the company was closing down and we believe that it was, however the most recent information we have is that a few furnaces at this location are again in production. We apologize for any confusion.
