August 1st, 2022 Dynametal Technologies of Brownsville, TN, USA filed for Chapter 11 Protection with liabilities equal to or greater than assets. Dynametal was a producer of powdered metal components and as such had a reasonably large heat treat/sintering department which was fairly typical of a powdered metal house-a combination of mesh belt sintering lines and steam treatment furnaces. January 18th of 2023 all of the assets will be going to auction. From a heat treat standpoint the only items of interest are 5 Sinterite and Abbott mesh belt sintering furnaces.
