Item #B286 Ipsen T-5 Batch IQ Lines (2 available). This package consists of 2 Abar Ipsen T-5 batch IQ furnaces with working dimensions of 24" wide X 36" deep X 18" high and 1 companion temper. Batch furnaces are gas fired with recuperated burners. One has an internal air cooling chamber between the carburizing chamber and the oil quench. While the equipment is desperately in need of a paint job internally they are in reasonably good condition with one having been rebricked and with a new fan. Item #B269 7’ Diameter Pit Furnace. Built by Erie Electric in Terre Haute, Indiana this is a “Hellmaster” Model #84. Gas fired with 12 burners in 3 regulated banks of 4 burners each. Control is by an actuator motor on the gas train. Capable of over 2000F. Currently set up to run a natural gas atmosphere only but can be easily converted to a pit carburizer. Currently this has an RA 330 retort which can be seen in the pictures but a larger retort or no retort can be used. Overall in good condition but does need new controls.
